Our guest this week grew up in Detroit, Michigan. In 1975, a 15-minute encounter transformed his life and tens of thousands of others as well.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and an M.D. from the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

He is a world class cardiothoracic surgeon who has performed over 8,000 heart surgeries and he has witnessed numerous miracles.
