Our guest tonight grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan and dreamed of being a sports announcer. After earning a BA degree in Telecommunications from Michigan State University he got a job announcing games for the Peoria Chiefs single-A baseball club in 1987.

He joined Fox Sports Detroit broadcast team in 2002 as the Detroit Tigers play-by-play announcer and is teamed up with color commentator Rod Allen on the telecasts.
