Our guest this week grew up
in Detroit, Michigan. At age 13, he left
home, dropped out of school and began selling
drugs. In 1990, at age 18, he was convicted of
first-degree murder and served 29 years in prison
for a crime he did not commit and was released on
February 12, 2019.
Since 1995 he's been a minister and has helped
lead countless men to salvation.
In 2020, he and Mitch Albom launched S.A.Y.
Detroit's "Better Together" initiative.
